You can totally change this one up and add your own spices to adjust the side dish to match your preferences! Sometimes, I just use the oil for cooking without the spices, and then add salted butter at the end to toss the cauliflower.

Tips for Air Frying Cauliflower

Can you use pre-cut cauliflower or frozen cauliflower?

You can use precut cauliflower just as well as fresh cauliflower heads, which can save some time. Just make sure it is fresh cauliflower.

Frozen cauliflower has a little different approach for the air fryer.

What seasoning can I add to cauliflower made in the air fryer?

This is really up to you. Sometimes I season it. Sometimes, I don’t add any seasoning but salt. Sometimes I add butter.

Feel free to add different or more seasoning to the cauliflower or you can skip the seasoning all together and add none at all. This recipe is just a great starting point if you are new to air frying veggies.

How big does my air fryer need to be to make this cauliflower?

This recipe should work in just about any air fryer size, unless it’s a really small one. I have an 8-quart air fryer that can hold a lot, so I’m able to make this in one batch. A 3 quart or larger is perfect for this recipe, but if it’s smaller, just cut the recipe in half or only cook half at a time.

It’s very important that you pause and toss the cauliflower halfway through the cooking process so the vegetables cook evenly.
