Ingredients to make Air Fryer Pumpkin Donuts
  • 1 tube of Pillsbury Grand’s Biscuits – avoid the flaky ones

How do you make Pumpkin Donuts in the Air Fryer?

I like to Pillsbury Grands biscuits, and I’ve found the ones that aren’t flaky layers work the best.

The raw biscuits on brown parchment paper to be rolled out

Roll each biscuit kind of flat using a glass or rolling pin.

Then use the 1-inch cookie cutter to cut the center like a donut.

Preheat the air fryer to 350 F degrees. If you don’t have a preheat setting, you can just turn the air fryer on for 4-5 minutes at this temperature to preheat.

Spray the air fryer with non-stick oil spray.

Place 2-4 donuts in the air fryer spaced out.

Cook for 6 minutes. They should come out just a bit golden brown.

When the donuts are all cooked, place them on parchment or wax paper on a cookie sheet.

Now it’s time to melt the frosting.

A can of melted orange frosting with ai spoon in it.

Open the canned frosting, so it doesn’t have a lid. Heat it for 30 seconds on HIGH in the microwave. Give it a good stir. If it’s not completely melted, pop it back in the microwave for 15-30 more seconds and stir until smooth.

Transfer the frosting to a bowl. Then, dip each donut halfway into the frosting. Let the excess drip while it’s held upside down.

Then, immediately place the donut back on the parchment paper and allow to dry.

Break the pretzels so they look like stems. Insert one into the top of each pumpkin donut.

As an optional step, I used green frosting and sucked it up in a baby medicine syringe and just added a little leaf on either side of the pretzel. You can also do this step with melted green candy melts, too.
